In the Cards for April 5, 2007 By Ariel This week, the cards tell a most gripping story for the face of sports-entertainment. On Monday night’s edition of Raw, the world witnessed a torch being passed to two youthful brothers of tag team domination. This is not a youth movement controlled by any hands; this is simply life. The gold bearers of the world’s tag teams have fought together. They achieved their goal by way of blood. Oh, the thick blood of those two brothers runs deep. In fact, the river of blood even washes through the Land of the Extreme. This is the blood that pumps through the bodies of Elijah Burke, Matt Striker, Marcus Cor Von and my Kevin Thorn. It is the red water that creates a new blood… the New Breed. The Hardys believe blood red is thicker than championship gold. They can believe all they want, but one river of color runs into the other. In the end, it is only thick enough for one species – the New Breed – to stand on while the rest are doomed to sink. ECW on Sci Fi Results - April 3rd 2007

The New Breed came out and Tazz did a nice job of getting the New Breed's heat back after they lost to the Originals at Mania. The Originals came out, then they cut to a break. [Commercial Break] 3 -- ECW ORIGINALS (RVD & SABU & THE SANDMAN & TOMMY DREAMER) vs. NEW BREED (ELIJAH BURKE & MARCUS COR VON & MATT STRIKER & KEVIN THORN w/Ariel) -- Extreme Rules match Sabu and Striker were battling in the ring out of the break, with Sabu landing a springboard DDT right off the bat. The action quickly broke down, then RVD went under the ring and brought out the weaponry. Dreamer smashed men with a trashcan lid, then the New Breed retreated to the outside. The New Breed recovered in the ring and Dreamer took a drop toe hold into a chair from Cor Von. Striker and Burke then took turns bashing Dreamer with various weapons. The fans rallied with a "New Breed sucks" chant, then Burke covered Dreamer for a nearfall. Out of nowhere, Dreamer caught Burke and Thorn with a dual DDT. RVD and Sabu then double-teamed Cor Von before setting up an aerial combo on Striker for a nearfall. Sabu went for a springboard move on Sabu, but Cor Von caught him in mid-air with a powerbomb on a chair. Dreamer grabbed Burke and hung him upside in the corner, then hit a basement dropkick sending a chair into Burke's face. [Q5 -- over-run] Dreamer fired up, but Cor Von caught him in the back with a chair, but Sandman cut him off with cane shots to the head. Cor Von quickly recovered and smashed Dreamer into a chair with a fallaway slam. Cor Von then gave Sandman the Pounce, sending him rolling to the outside. RVD and Sabu then followed with a chair shot before Thorn entered the scene and ran over both RVD and Sabu with knock-down clotheslines. Thorn and RVD battled and teased table spots, but Sabu ended the exchange with a chair shot blow to Thorn's face. Sabu then placed Thorn on a table and went up top. Sabu and RVD then came off the top turnbuckle together with a dual leg drop on Thorn, sending him through the table. Sabu turned his back after dumping Striker over the top rope to the floor, then he gave Sabu a sick double knee smash to the back of Sabu's head, sending Sabu crashing through a second table in the corner. Burke came up limping, then quickly covered Sabu for the win. Afterward, everyone limped around while selling the effects of a stunt brawl. RVD, who had a cut on his left shoulder, checked on Sabu. The New Breed stood tall on the outside while Sabu seemed the freshest of the Originals despite taking the loss. Styles asked how the Originals would come back from this after losing at their own game. Intriguing. WINNERS: New Breed in 9:00. Digital: Andy Jordison's HQ Screen Captures:

RAW Results & Media - April 2, 2007

Tag Team Battle Royal - Part Two The teams in this match are Shawn Michaels and John Cena; Matt and Jeff Hardy; Paul London and Brian Kendrick; Gregory Helms and Chavo Guerrero; Marcus Cor Von and Kevin Thorn w/Ariel; Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch; Viscera and Val Venis; Sandman and Tommy Dreamer; Dave Taylor and William Regal; Johnny Nitro and Mike Mizanin. Everyone tries to eliminate Viscera. Val Venis is eliminated from the match. Dave Taylor and Chavo exchange uppercuts by the ropes. Kendrick holds on to the ropes. Thorn tries to eliminate Michaels. William Regal is eliminated from the match by Tommy Dreamer. Chavo and Helms try to eliminate Cena in the corner while Thorn continues to work on Michaels. Dream punches Murdoch in the ring followed by an elbow, but Lance Cade eliminates Dreamer. Michaels is almost out of the ring but he is able to roll back in. Chavo with a European uppercut to Murdoch as we go to commercial. We are back and the match continues. Cena and Michaels are still the targets for elimination, but they stay in the match. Mizanin and Nitro work on Cena but Michaels with Sweet Chin Music to Nitro who was on the top turnbuckle and is eliminated. Michaels eliminates Cena to eliminate himself and Michaels so we will have new tag team champions. Michaels goes to the back and he says ‘sorry’ and ‘one goal’. We return to the action in the ring and London with a double stomp to Helms, but he runs into a drop kick from Chavo Guerrero. Kendrick and Chavo Guerrero are eliminated when Kendrick hits a rana and both go to the floor. We are down to two teams and Cade with a flying clothesline to Matt Hardy. Jeff slams Murdoch into the turnbuckle. Jeff punches Cade in the corner while Matt punches Murdoch. Matt and Jeff try to eliminate Cade, but Murdoch punches them from behind. Murdoch charges into a boot from Matt. Cade with a flurry of punches to Matt and then he goes for Jeff. Cade with a reverse atomic drop followed by a running boot from Murdoch and both Hardys are on the mat. Cade and Murdoch pick up Jeff and they get him over the ropes but Jeff holds on to the ropes. Matt with a clothesline to Cade followed by a side effect to Murdoch. Matt with a neckbreaker to Cade and then both Hardys go to the turnbuckles for leg drops. Jeff throws Murdoch over the top rope, but Murdoch holds on to the ropes. Murdoch gets to the apron and rolls back in. Cade is on the apron and Matt tries to kick him to the floor, but Cade gets back in. Matt sends Murdoch to the apron and Jeff sends Cade to the floor but he is not eliminated. Jeff hits Poetry in Motion on Murdoch to win the match. Winners and new Tag Team champions: Jeff and Matt Hardy Screencaps:
