In the Cards for 03/22/07
By Ariel

This week, the cards tell a most interesting story. It is a story that concerns all of society and will shake the world to its very core.

There are but few billionaires who walk this earth. Two economic gargantuans now tower over the land of sports-entertainment, continuously exhibiting their prosperity and power. A colossal clash looms, however, and one man will be forced to relinquish his glory.

Sheer embarrassment awaits a once proud billionaire, and only the cards know who. Oh, some may think they can anticipate the outcome of this titanic confrontation based on words and petty actions exchanged throughout the weeks. There is only one moment, though, that can determine who wears the crown and who wears only skull.

Further success sits in the future for one of these strong leaders; however, do not take this as a setback for the man who bows his head in shame. Look at it as a lesson learned, for the loser of this match will gain in wisdom what he loses in beauty. Still, the winner will have the best of both worlds and peace of mind, knowing his knowledge led him to make the right decision in his choice of weapon.

Don’t thank me for this prophecy of polarizing power. Thank the cards, for they tell all.

ECW on SciFi - March 20 2007
Sabu & Rob Van Dam vs. Marcus Cor Von and Kevin Thorn (with Ariel)

Van Dam kicked Thorn hard in the face then nailed a spin kick. Sabu nailed Air Sabu off Van Dam's back in the corner. He dropkicked Thorn's legs out from under him and drilled him with a legdrop for a near fall. Thorn caught Van Dam coming off the ropes. He ducked a spinkick and Van Dam caught himself in the ropes. Cor Von clotheslined RVD to the floor. Not good so far. Cor Von drilled RVD with a pair of over the knee backbreakers for a near fall.

The New Breed kept working over Van Dam as the crowd tried to rally him. Thorn locked on a rear chinlock. Cor Von slammed RVD and cinched in a side chinlock. Sabu tagged in and hit a springboard into a clothelines, then hit a slingshot leg lariat. Sabu hit a DDT on Cor Von but Thorn broke up the pinfall. Van Dam nailed a windmill kick, then pulled Thorn over the ropes with a headscissors to the floor. Sabu and Cor Von went at it. Sabu bounced off the ropes and Thorn missed an interference spot because time stood still. Thorn finally grabbed Sabu's hair and he was distracted. He drilled Thorn with a punch, then turned to face Marcus. Cor Von nailed an awesome looking pounce and scored the pin. Seriously, that pounce was better than anything else in the match. Sabu bumped clear across the ring for it.

Your winners, Marcus Cor Von and Kevin Thorn!

In the Cards for 03/15/07
By Ariel

This week, the cards tell a story which points directly to the most recent ECW on Sci Fi. It is a tale of desperateness, but at the same time, one of supremacy.

The so-called ECW Originals recently outlasted the New Breed in a Battle Royal Match. Worry not, ECW fans, for the cards show that this will have little impact on the Land of the Extreme in the long run. The real test comes at WrestleMania.

In their feeble efforts to be the superior faction, they have recruited – perhaps unknowingly – Hardcore Legend Mick Foley. Foley brings even more experience to the decayed relics of ECW, but while he may have written several books, this does not necessarily mean he brings a wisdom that can trump strength and youth. An extra person in attendance egging on the delusion of these near-fossils will have no bearing on what the future holds.

On the other hand, the New Breed has its own associate. While the Originals intend to live in the past, reviving skeleton after skeleton, the New Breed knows that the future is what matters most. What better way to attain a successful future than to have a clairvoyant in the corner of these four Superstars?

For their youth and their focus, the New Breed is what lies ahead for years to come in ECW. As much reminiscing that Foley and the Originals insist on polluting ECW on Sci Fi with, it cannot change what is already in the cards.

Don’t thank me for this tale of a secure ECW outlook. Thank the New Breed and thank the cards, for they tell all.
